The mission of Pathways Institute for Lifelong Learning is to foster among those aged 55+ a quest for lifelong learning that enriches the mind and spirit to pursue wisdom, service, and understanding.
We believe that older adults, like all people throughout the journey of aging, have much to celebrate, discover, and share. Pathways Institute provides them with a forum to do so. Furthermore, research supports the idea that lifelong learning has beneficial effects on one’s mental, physical, spiritual, social, and overall well-being. The continued ability to learn, discover, and explore as you age is one of the many things that help us find meaning and purpose in life.
Currently, we are exploring ways to expand the reach of Pathways Institute, including through new opportunities to expand Pathways Institute through other host sites, beyond Messiah Lifeways and Landis Communities—providing adults 55+ with access to the transformational power of lifelong learning.
